Call Base for roadside assistance and breaks, and answer calls from Base.

Open the CB radio

Press CB Radio, or interact with the CB Radio in the cab. The menu has Roadside assistance, Base and Close. Each list has Back to return to the menu.

Base answers by voice. Stop the truck before you open Roadside assistance or Base. While you drive, the menu shows Stop the truck and Base asks you to park somewhere safe and call again.

Roadside assistance

Roadside assistance sends help to where you are. Each option costs time and money:

Refuel adds up to 30 L of fuel in 1 h for $300.
Repair repairs your truck in 3 h for $800 and restores its condition to at least 50%.
Restore and repair gets the truck back on the road in 6 h for $1,500 and restores its condition to at least 30%. Base sends a recovery crew. Use it when the truck is stuck or off the road.
Close returns you to driving without help.

On the CB list, the options read Refuel [1:00h, $300], Repair [3:00h, $800] and Restore [6:00h, $1500].

If the tank is empty when you start the engine, or the truck is stuck when you accelerate, the game sends you here:

Use the CB radio: Roadside Assistance, then Refuel.
Use the CB radio: Roadside Assistance, then Restore and Repair.

Calls to Base

The Base list has Report a one-hour break and Return to base. When you report a break, Base notes it.

If you have no base yet, Return to base gets the answer You don't have a base to return to. The game does not describe yet what Return to base does.

A parking assistance option asks Base to send a yard crew to help you reverse the trailer into its spot. Its label lists 0:30h and $100. The game does not say where this option appears.

Answer calls

When Base calls, accept the call.
A notification shows Accept and a countdown in seconds. The game does not say what happens when the time runs out.
Pick a reply, such as Yes or No.
The replies use CB option 1 to CB option 4.

With an active delivery, Base may offer to set your route with one of these questions:

You’ve got an active delivery. Want me to set navigation to the destination?
Want me to set the route?

If you agree, Base answers Done. Try to stay on it. See Set a route.

In the tutorial, the step Check in with Base asks you to Answer on the CB radio. Base offers to stay with you on the radio for the first run, and the CB shows Continue Tutorial and Skip Tutorial. See Your first working day.
